As we get ready for the new school year, I wanted to share a new opportunity that I think could benefit our school in a big way. Through everyday shopping we can provide an additional stream of support for our programs, activities, teams, and student opportunities without adding another fundraiser or constantly asking families for more funding. Townchest is a unique online retailer that partners with schools, teams, clubs, and nonprofit organizations and allocates a significant portion of the profits generated from purchases made through the site to them. The concept is simple. Supporters shop for products they already buy, including electronics, beauty and personal care items, jewelry, bags, snacks, beverages, and more, and then a portion of each purchase is shared with us, creating a year-round source of funding without any additional cost to families or supporters.

What I find most exciting is that it does not require selling products, organizing events, or asking people for donations. Instead, it allows our supporters to help our school simply by making purchases they were already planning to make.
