Townchest LLC - Member Participation Terms

Townchest Shopping for Good Program Member Terms  

These Member Participation Terms (“Member Terms”) applies to any individual (“Member,” “you,” or “your”) who joins, participates in, contributes to, or helps promote an Organization or Affiliated Group through the Townchest Shopping for Good Program (the “Program”). By participating, you agree to the terms below which supplement the Townchest.com Terms of Use. 

Compliance with Program Policies  

By participating in, contributing to, or helping promote any Organization or Group through the Program or on the Townchest platform, you agree to comply with all Program Polices, including the Townchest Terms of Use, Acceptable Usage Policy, Content & Submission Guidelines, and all other rules, requirements, and policies referenced therein or posted on the Townchest Site. You understand that failure to comply may result in removal from a Group, suspension of your account, or other actions Townchest, at its sole discretion, determines appropriate. 

Voluntary Participation; Assumption of Risk  

Your participation in any Organization, Affiliated Group, or fundraiser activity is voluntary and at your own risk. 

You acknowledge that: 

• Townchest does not screen, endorse, or control Organizations or their Affiliated Groups; 

• Townchest does not supervise or oversee any activities conducted by Organizations, their Affiliated Groups, or their members; and 

• You join or support any fundraising effort entirely at your own discretion and responsibility 

Townchest is not responsible for disputes, misconduct, or activities between Members, Affiliated Groups, or Organizations. 

Accuracy and Responsible Conduct  

You agree that any content, messages, promotions, or other materials you submit or share in connection with an Organization, Affiliated Group, or fundraiser through the Program will be accurate, lawful, and in compliance with Program Policies. You agree you will not make misleading statements, impersonate others, or post prohibited or harmful content. 

No Rights to Funds or Payments  

Members do not gain any ownership or financial entitlement to Payment Amounts earned by Organizations or their Affiliated Groups. All funds generated through the Program are distributed solely to the Organization, and Members have no right to receive, direct, or control such funds. 

Privacy and Communication  

You agree not to upload or share personal or sensitive information about others—including emails, phone numbers, student data, or contact lists—unless you have lawful authority to do so and such actions comply with Program Policies and applicable law. Townchest has no obligation to store, maintain, or retrieve Member communications.  

Prohibited Activities  

You may not: 

• Engage in harassment, solicitation, spam, or unauthorized outreach; 

• Misuse Townchest trademarks or content; 

• Attempt to circumvent Program features or reporting; 

• Conduct any activity that violates applicable law or the Program Policies 

Suspension or Removal  

Townchest may, in its sole discretion, suspend or terminate your access to any fundraiser or the Program at any time if you violate these Member Terms or if necessary to protect users, Organizations, or the integrity of the Program. 

Disclaimers  

Townchest provides the Program on an “as is” basis and does not guarantee: 

• the legitimacy, conduct, or activities of any Organization or Affiliated Group; 

• the success, accuracy, or impact of any fundraiser; 

• the continued availability of any group or fundraiser. 

Indemnification   

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Townchest and its affiliates from any claims, losses, or liabilities arising out of your actions, your participation in any fundraiser, or your violation of these Member Terms, Terms of Use or Program Policies.
